Suchara Fernando is a senior paralegal at Snedden Hall and Gallop Lawyers, joining the team in 2015. She primarily assists the Family Law and Migration teams.
Her work includes:
- conducting legal research
- drafting court documents
- corresponding with clients, expert witnesses, solicitors and barristers
- preparing briefs
- assisting with file management and administration.
Suchara completed a Bachelor of Asian Studies in 2017 and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the Australian National University in 2019. Her honours thesis focused on the implied freedom of political communication within the context of the #MeToo movement and defamation.
When not working, Suchara enjoys keeping fit through social netball and the gym.
