Jonathan is a registered practitioner of the High Court of Australia, specialising in family law. Jonathan joined Snedden Hall & Gallop’s family law team in 2021, bringing with him a breadth of experience in parenting and property matters. He is an experienced litigator and appears regularly before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, ACT Magistrates Court, and ACT Administrative Tribunal. Jonathan has a strong record of satisfied clients.
Jonathan’s focus is on providing a personable service tailored to his client’s needs. He understands that not all clients can afford to litigate matters to final Hearing. In these circumstances, Jonathan relies upon his professional relationships with other lawyers to steer matters towards an amicable settlement, as quickly and as affordably as possible. Jonathan firmly believes that the driving force behind a successful client/lawyer relationship is preparation, communication, accessibility, and execution.
Jonathan is a keen club member and former reserve grade captain of the Easts Rugby Union Football Club. He is also an avid musician and subcommittee member for the Queanbeyan Junior Brass, a non-for-profit organisation providing education and instruments to kids.
Jonathan was admitted as a lawyer in 2012 and holds a Bachelor of Arts, Laws, and Master of Arts from the University of Wollongong; Graduate Diploma of Legal Practise from the College of Law; and a Diploma of Government from the Canberra Institute of Technology.
