Caitlin practices primarily in our Business Law team, advising on a range of business transactions, assisting clients with guarantee and loan documents including providing guarantees to major lenders and advising in business disputes. Caitlin also assists with the sale and purchases of businesses and is an Accredited Succession Plus advisor. In our Employment Law team, Caitlin assists both employees and employers with dispute resolution, compliance and the conduct of litigation.
Caitlin provides individuals clients with support in dispute resolution and criminal law, where she primarily assists with drink and drug driving offences.
As part of our Sports Law team, Cailin also provides legal advice to the sporting and fitness industries.
Caitlin was admitted as a solicitor of the ACT Supreme Court in February 2016. She joined Snedden Hall & Gallop in February 2013 after winning the firm’s University Scholarship in 2010 and was named an Associate in June 2018.
As an integral part of our Meritas team, Caitlin is the Young Lawyer Liaison (YLL) for our firm to this international network of law firms, and on the Meritas Young Lawyer Advisory Panel for the international liaison group. She is also an approved Secure Local Jobs auditor with the ACT Government.
Caitlin completed her Bachelor of Laws at the University in Canberra in 2015. Her honours thesis investigated the admissibility of evidence obtained during covert police operations in Australia and Canada. She has studied cybersecurity and data protection at Simon Fraser University in Canada.
Outside of work, Caitlin is an avid traveller, photographer and sports fan.
