How to get your IRE Certificate for ACT Government work

If you are involved in the delivery of ACT Government building and construction work you need to arrange a current Industrial Relations and Employment Certificate (IRE Certificate) for your own organisation and for sub-contractors working on your projects. Compliance is a critical undertaking in the building and construction industry. Emily Shoemark, Senior Associate with Snedden Hall & Gallop Lawyers, explains the process contractors and sub-contractors must undertake before they tender for work or commence work.

Who issues the Certificate?

IRE Certificates are issued by ACT Procurement, which requires your Application to be reviewed and approved by a Registered IRE Auditor.

Snedden Hall & Gallop is a Registered Auditor and can assist you with the certification process.
